Noteworthy contribution to Ship: Sea Scout Ship 25 is pleased to recognize its Boatswain ADAM BLACKFORD as S.S.S. YORKSHIRE’s “Sea Scout of the Year”.  Adam has been dedicated in his leadership of our unit, in his attendance at every unit function, in his correct wearing of the uniform, and in his efforts to recruit new members.  He was enthusiastic participant in this summer’s Long Cruise.  He designed an outstanding recruiting advertisement for the Ship, and is making steady progress towards his Eagle Scout Award.
