Sea Scout History

SSS YORKSHIRE - Sea Scout Ship 25, York, PA is pleased to present some glimpses of the rich history of this fine movement we call Sea Scouting.  As your old Seascout Manual will tell you, SSS stands for "Scouting, Seamanship, and Service", with a little fourth "s" thrown in for "social".  This is part of our "service" to you, our gentle readers.
